Killing the Sweet Tooth: Diabetes Diagnosis

So the last few weeks have been radio silence over here. My grand plans of updating regularly got overshadowed by "OMGWTFBBQ" overwhelmed nonsense. Getting back on track should happen soon, if slowly. Both sides of my family have long, detailed histories of both diabetes and heart disease. One Year Anniversary… a weekend at home

We've been married for over a year, legally and everything. We got married on our dating anniversary, so it's been 5 years together. A monumental celebration for a partnership of any kind. We woke up on that morning and hustled a friend into taking photos of us on the roof of our apartment building. We each held a framed print of our favorite photos from our wedding day. My cousin (about to get married herself in June) had told us about the idea, and I think it bears repeating here. Dinner and a Movie, Cheesy Style

Maybe it's because I grew up with punny snark sharks, but I love a cheesy word-play tie-in. Dinner and a Movie becomes an "event" that's a bit more exciting than "Tuesday" when you put a little effort in.
